A soft brush is basically a round paint brush that has blurry edgings.
Sorry Dave, I can't remember the equivalent term or tool for psp.
Another way to do it would be a 'feathered' selection -as below in psp7
On my psp7 a good setting for the eraser would be:
Shape: Round
Size: around 120 (or whatever suits)
Hardness: 0
Opacity: 10
Step: 25
Density: 100
Now all you have to work out is how to enter those settings into your PSPX
