how to put forum on a site

Are you using a paid webhost? If you are then you should be able to set up a forum through your control panel using Fantastico, if not then you will have to manually upload the forum software you want such as SMF or PHBB and set up a database for them.

No you don't have to buy a web place. Just make a free forum on one of those I just gave you and add one of the links on your website.

If you take freehostia you can use their free hosting plan..

If you use the free forum host you probly won't get a theme that looks like your own template.

Freehostia.com or other sites like that where you can have a database so that you can install the forum is the only way to get a template for the forum to look the same (Design one yourself or look for one that is almost the same
