Wow CovertPea - I thought we had it bad with 24/hr rain for 9 days, but I think you got me beat. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pictures.

Wow I saw a show all about the great dust bowl of the 30s that is the kind of storms they had then scary. Best of luck to all of the country.

I bet I can post some crazy snow pics this winter we are expecting the worst winter in many years here in Colorado.

So glad that's over with!

We didn't get the reddish dust like our southern cousins but lots of gritty dust nonetheless. I think I've digested a couple of pounds of it.
My poor lil' mutt who's coat is usually white is now a dull shade of brown. She matches our car nicely. Bath time this weekend for both of them!

Still dry as old toast here. Strong westerly winds today. Weatherman predicts another dust storm for this evening or tomorrow morn.

I see New Zealand now has a coating of our Aussie topsoil!

(off to do a raindance)
