Default Just isn't Cricket!

Well Hellooo. I say, Ding Dong what a frightfully marvellous website. Tip Top wot?
One was hoping some kind soul would be able to assist one's pee-poor Cricket Club in the design of a dapper badge for our kits (and even a cravat!).....

As per your request.....

1) What is your website address
http://maeshafncc.co.uk/
2) Description of your website:
Maintained by a rather eccentric nutter with a penchant for cucumbers (2nd from right, front row in team photo). Very little to do with cricket or cucumbers really.
3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
a) Glamorgan CC's Daffodill - well it is Welsh.
b) Erm...Derby County? It has a sheep (see above) Although it is a ram...
c) Hull City - just for the shape of the crest and accompanying 'banner' as well as name of club on the top of shield. http://www.egersund.info/fotball/nyh...CityFCLogo.jpg4) Requested size of your logo:
About the size of a matchbox (Bryant & May not Swann Vesta) Only joking - approx 3-4inch crest.
5) Do you have any images/photos/clipart that can be used for the logo? (these must be copyright free)Alas, not a vegetarian sausage nor cucumber.
6) Any colors you prefer?
Any bar pink. And cerise. Actually, magnolia never did anything for me.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Adding to the above, one was hoping to have a shield based design, split into quarters. The four quarters would have:-
A sheep
A beer (in a pint glass, not a tin. We are dignified.)
A steaming turd with a couple of flies attracted to it (to depict our level within the sport)
And erm.... a meat and two veg. Unexcited. Not standing to attention. Like was drawn on your school text books, so as to reflect our maturity.

As per the Hull Logo, would like Maeshafn CC on top of crest (if possible) and some Ltin gubbins (currently being translated) across the bottom.

Hope this makes some sort of sense. Any help/guidance/assistance would be much appreciated.
Tally Ho!

After reading through your logo request, may I clarify a few points regarding the requested content...
(Just to be sure you weren't over-indulging on the 'suds' at the time of writing it)
A beer and a sheep? Are you sure you're not New Zealanders?

Anyways, I've no problem with putting a logo together for your team, although you may be stretching the friendship by wanting the meat / two veg and steaming excrement as part of the elements.

After all, this graphics-put-together-person would prefer you had the good manners to take into account that (to quote David Walliams) "I'm a lady!"

Being an Aussie, I fully understand one's right to take the mickey out of the snobby upper classes. It's certainly one of my own personal passions!

So, how about you rethink/replace those two content elements and let me whack together something worthwhile.

Cheers
CP

Hi CP,

Have had a thought! Would it be OK to have a duck (One supposes a bath-time yellow rubber one would be dapper) and a cricket ball destroying a set of wickets to replace a turd and erm... the thing that neither 'Ladies' from Little Britain possessed (Immac?).
Marvellous!

I say dear CP!

How the devil are you my favourite antipodean?

Following up from the original possting, the Latin gubbins has arrived - Hurrah!
Would it be possible to have Nos Merda sumus atque id cognovimus included within the bottom?

If space is of a premium, fututi sumus nec ignoramus - would also be dapper
Aarghh can't get out of Italics!!
Sacre Bleu, je suis turning Francais? One always reads Italics in a french accent - don't ask me why it just 'appens Le haw hee haw.

Here's what I've come up with. No cerise or pink. The elements are of a 'cartoonish' style which I feel is within your light-hearted take on the sport.
This image is much smaller than the original.

So...
Howzatt?

I say dear Undercover Sweet-Pea!!

By golly! Fair dinkum Sheila - there's a lot of spunk in that one!
Oh my stars, what a Bobby Dazzler. One is sure that the team will be as enthralled as I am.
But a big thumbs up. One will ensure that one pops by to keep in touch!
Many thanks and toodle pip!
