Hi every one,

I am very new websites and all; I just downloaded the web template and unzipped it. Now can anyone please help me out, how can I edit the template to make my own website and my content in to it.

Sure we can. All you have to do is take some time to read the posts in the forum. That will get you started. You will find several posts on the subject and even more advanaced topics. This will advance you in a quicker manner then we could.

No I was not aroused to impatience or anger. Your answer is the standard one. People just want it now... without having to put in a little effort.

Hey I have opened the template in third party software (website builder). My template was template no.10 (Personal Site). I have opened it in the software and it was showing me the Home page, now my question is that how can I create more pages like mentioned (hobbies, contacts and Photo Gallery). Since the template having only one page that was a homepage. “You have no luck figuring out which one suits you
” it was meant that I don’t what I have to upload in the third party software to make a website. The html fine in Zip or any else files. See I am very new to this.

A template is just what the name implies. All free ( the key word free) templates come with 1 page to get you started. You have to know a little of the languages to make the other pages look different otherwise all your pages will look the exact same way execpt for the words and the pictures you change. Are you with me so far!

Now just like any program or software you use, saving a file is the same and has not changed since computers were first created.
Open the index file in your editor - now you want to "save as" - give it a new name such as about keeping the same extension. Your new file name will look like about.html Now you have 2 files, but unless you put some new content (different words/pics) in the 2nd file they will both look the same.
Does this explain it ok?
