Exclamation Adjusted Template in Dreamweaver, now need help with css!

Hi all,

I downloaded the Architecture2 template.
It didn't struck my mind to edit the template using photoshop.
So I edited it with dreamweaver, and it has changed pretty much from the original template.

Now here is the trouble,
I tried uploading everything (html, css and images) through Filezilla, I did not upload the psd file since it is still the original template. But my website is totally haywired! The background is not there, the alignment is all wrong. Only some text and words are left, all over the place.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with it? Is it because I cannot edit the template using dreamweaver? Each time I try to save the new css, all the codings turn PINK! And with lots of errors. I think something is wrong with my css, how do I actually save it? Anybody else with the same problem?

This is what my website looks like now:

This is what it should look like:

Sounds like you did not setup DW like you should have when you first started the program. DW is a funny animal in that you have set it up first by answering a few questions it has for you. Like setting up a local site and linking it to the remote site. DW keeps an internal database concering your files, graphics, css, html, asp java, xml, etc. Break the links and well you know what happens. Can I tell you here how to do it - No - DW has to steep of a learning curve. It's best you do it on your own, but here are links to get you started.

You can upload with DW, as a matter of fact you can sync your files on both your pc and server, lock files, share files while editing and a whole bunch more. Even intergrate other programs into it so you can export those files for DW or have DW inport them in for editing. It's really slick in that respect but as I said steep learning.
