So I think this site is outstanding, just wanted to say that...
I downloaded some magazine templates from here, I have dreamweaver and all of the other Adobe apps. I do design on CS4 Flash and photoshop, and can re-create any of these templates with FL and PS. But I have never learned HTML or CSS, I just do all of the animation in flash with the timeline, no action-script. I really wanted a magazine site that could archive pages... does anyone know of a simple tutorial that I can figure out what and how to import into dreamweaver? I am pretty quick, but I just need something for the left side of my brain. |

Did you make sure you have the latest versions of Adobe? and also, Dreamweaver isnt the best program to use for templates. Use http://www.tucows.com/preview/353049 for ADM files. For CSS use http://www.blumentals.net/rapidcss/. And for HTML use, http://www.outsystems.com/agile/Cont...FYZM5Qodr1P3LA.
Ya the second two are trials, but if you get the full version it will be worth wild. Good luck

Yeah I have CS4 design suite.
I think the problem was that I downloaded a php. wordpress style template from here and it would not show up correctly on Dreamweaver. Still having trouble understanding how to open Wordpress templates with Dreamweaver. My main question/problem, I think I have, I just need some type of Template where I will be able to archive content from articles etc.. or an understanding how to archive HTML pages on my website. |
