I recently opened a store at buyitsellit.com and I love one of the free templates, but when I paste the code from the style.css it does not show like the template. Acording to BISI we can use css and html. Can anyone help me? BISI uses BISI Mark up. Please pardon my ignorance, but is it because I have to edit the style.css and make it compatible with the BISI Markup? If I have to, can anyone tell me what do I have to change. I am new to this and I have no clue about these scripting languages. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The template that I would like to use is Clothing ecommerce template This is BISI Mark up Templates Introduction http://wiki.buyitsellit.com/index.ph...s_Introduction List of Variables Reference (Variables we can use) http://wiki.buyitsellit.com/index.ph...able_Reference |

The area you would be looking at is the section called "Skins" http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Developer_hub First a required understanding of the languages; php, html and css look here http://www.w3schools.com/ is a must. Second just because the word template is use, it is not universal in the sense that a template can be mixed in to any program. If you look at the frame work for the software you want to use and the template here you would see they are not compatable. A template is like a floor plan with the outside dimensions being the same, you maybe able to select 3 bedroom or 4, but the flow of the house remains the same. You can paint it different colors on the outside and thats about it. Some day after you learn the languages it may be possible, but not now. Just remember there are different templates for different types of jobs, and this template is not for that software.
