CSS Spacing Help

Ello ^_^
I'm using the fiberglass company template to try to learn some CSS. But I seemed to have run into a problem. I replaced their logo of the the doors with a bigger one, and I would like to know how to move over the welcome header. I tried adjusting the padding, but it just went down into the next line and disappeared. Any help would be nice, sorry if I'm not being that clear.
