Default Using editable regions in Dreamweaver

Hello,
I am using the template http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/preview/template6/ and I am trying to use the "Template" function in Dreamweaver, where you create and template and any changes made to that template are changed on all pages created from that page. For this to work it is required that an "editable region" be assigned to the areas that can be changed on the pages created from the template. Using that web template above, I tried to set the editable region to be the left and middle column only. However when I do this, the editable region code seems to interfere with the css code and causes the contents of the right column to no longer be inside the box, but to be on its own below it. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Thank you,
Ransom
