Angry Adding your own images to a template?

I love the templates available and have easily figured out how to change the images (such as the header and footer graphics) and change the sizes, etc., but I can't figure out how to add my own photos.

No matter how many times I TRY.... the source file is correct, the file name is correct. It's driving me NUTS. lol I am specificly using the "Charity" http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/preview/charity/ template and just need to add my own photos into a paragraph.

It should be as simple as adding the <img src="images/name.jpg"/> tag right?

PLEASE help. Thanks.

simple yes.
the line of code indicates that the files are located in the images directory which is in the root of your web. so in the main directory say "myweb" are directories and your html files. one of those directories needs to be named "images" and must have your grapics inside of it.

I'm pretty sure I may have screwed something up in the css file. I added my own photos in place of the existing ones (photo1.jpg) that came with the template ok, but adding my own, no matter if they are in the right directory or not, is not working. I have had this problem with another template also.

Can anyone suggest a template they know for sure you can add your own images to without a problem? Top nav prefferably.
