This is a PR6 but just 11-month software website of my company.The website has high PR6 but very low traffic.The number of visitor is not more than 300.Sometime,the number is less than 200.I don't know why the website gets a high PR so quickly but very low traffic. The website was designed with PHP and DIV+CSS.This is a simple website for no more than 20 webpages,but why can it get high PR so quickly but less traffic ? I think it is a strange website.I also find that similar title,keywords,description in almost web pages. The website: socusoft . com (PR6,but very less traffic,why ?) Sincerely invite all friends to review the website and discuss it .Any viewpoints can be accepted and collected well. Please give me some advice to improve the website.Thank you.
I am not the best expert but your site looks great to me, I think your page rank is because of great design but low traffic because there are lots and lots of competing programs out there to do what yours does. I have downloaded and tried several myself. it may be a very hard niche to compete in. There are free programs to play dvd and flv files. Sorry if this seems negative its not meant that way. - It is not "bad". Most of the sites on the internet have errors, many gross errors. If you want to compete with the "big boys" you must be better than they are. A professional site should not have validation (coding) errors or warnings. Many of the major companies do, so correcting them helps you in many areas. "HTML Tidy" will automatically generate the corrections. The idea is to make the site an asset to the business. You need several analytics (free) to check the sites progress and improve, remember, you probably have over a million sites trying for that 1st page on Google. It is not easy to achieve, but the rewards are worth it. Also check your conversions ( who and why they are buying from your site) This way you can improve (more people buying from the site). A site is advertising, and most companies try different methods to improve sales through advertising. What works for one may not work for another. You have to experiment with some guidance for improved sales. - hope this helps falcon
one thing to remember is if your site is coded in php ect the html tidy will not do a lot if the errors are in the php code most common error is the use of the & in urls ie$one=2&two=2 ect to validae it must be & not just & sure you already know this but just thought i would mention it.
