html and css is very easy , especialy html... super easy..
php a bit harder but not much... you dont need to know mysql... isnt necessary.

I would not call photoshop easy, takes a while to pick it up because there is so much you can do with it.

Once you begin to understand the basic tools:
    -Brushing
    -Bluring
    -photo manipulation
    -slicing
    -Minor animation

It begins to get very easy to design something

I have worked with Photoshop for 4 years and I would not call it "easy" it is easy in the sense that you can create a great image 'IF' you know what you're doing, but learning how to use photoshop to create a template and then knowing how to slice it for proper coding, that is not too easy and honestly, I still have trouble with some of it...I always wind up figuring it out but it is sometimes a challenge.

I also disagree MYSQL is VERY important if you are a good web designer, you don't want everything saved to a text file, MYSQL is a big time saver, luckily it is also pretty basic and easy to learn, you just simply set up your tables and cells, name them etc...and there are a lot of programs that can actually do that for you, unless you are writing PHP (which is exceptionally difficult to learn and master) and you need your own database for it.

I recommend the w3schools.com as well however I would also recommend HTML Goodies and you could Google the others such as 'PHP Tutorial' and find one that suits you best. Good luck and trust me when I say hang in there, because this is definately a very lucrative business to be in, I make a VERY comfortable living doing this, as a matter of fact I have just been offered a full time position doing web design for a very large company, I get my own cushy office and make a 6 figure income each year plus bonuses...so trust me when I say just tough it out, I started out as just a little self ran out of the home business about 4 1/2 years ago and now look! Good luck and I look forward to seeing big things from you! ;)
