General Complete Website Dummy - Help Please?

Discussion in 'General' started by GoldenPawsDogTraining, Oct 14, 2009.

  1. Hi, I am trying to re-design my website. My web-hosting is through Yahoo and I used their WYSIWYG website builder called Site Builder. I was looking through the free templates and really like the architecture one. I downloaded it, and tried to open it in Site Builder, but I can't!

Is there a way to edit this template in a program like Site Builder? I've read some of the tutorials and am completely confused. I don't understand how to edit stuff in a text file when I don't know what half that stuff is! Is there a simpler way to do it?

Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

  3. I downloaded the program, but now what do I do? I have downloaded the template I like, but how do I get it into the program to edit it? I opened the style file, and I can't see what it looks like or how to edit it.

I'm sorry I'm so dumb about this - but I've only used the wysiwyg type editors... I think I much prefer them! :)

No you can not edit them with sitebuilder.
Look in the Forum on the main page under Free Services there is a list or editors pick from.
