Legacy Desperately need a football club logo redesigned if possible

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out here, my team (Lennox F.C) is in desperate need of a final design for our club badge. We have an initial design which is a reflection of where my team came from. In the logo you will see 3 'tower blocks' looking over a football cage with a football goal inside and floodlights on either side which is known as 'The Blue Pen' where I am from. Everyone on our team has grown up here and played football for many years in this place and to have this on our shirt whilst playing would be great!

The current concerns I have with the design are:

- Its low quality which would not be ideal for printing

- the blue cage is too complex which may not be ideal for printing also

- I feel a bit more detail could go into the design.

our club colours are orange with black trim

I hope one of you masterminds can help us out here, it would be highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot for your re-design that looks 100000x better than our one already! Just a few little ideas I have...

I agree with you both and think the shield shape may look better without the straight lines what do you reckon?

If possible do you think the cage could be made royal blue with the goal inside it red? (I know the colouring sounds crazy lool)

Due to a poor quality image we had for our initial design its really hard to tell, but the lines on the cage were originally vertically and horizontally crossing eachother making squares so if its not to much to ask could you change that aswell?

and last but not least if possible can the red goal go behind the blue cage so it looks like your looking at it from the outside? If that would be an issue for printing on a shirt then no worries..

Scrap that last comment lol - The draft you done is perfect with the navy blue cage and the black lines and everyone loves it on my team.
