    free dot.??

If you want a free domain name, try using dot.tk. It's free and you got a choice to show a banner or not.

there not exactly dot com domains but theres a few decent ones (over 1000 in total). freedns.afraid.org ,u need to point it to redirect to your current host provider.

http://www.ihavefree.com --- registration is now closed due to some webpage maker and spammer who are overriding their layouts and systems.. so, i prefer anotherfree and domainfree, because they are still open..

I ran across this website - Palkey.com/freedomains - several months ago and saved it to check out but I haven't tried it myself to date so I cannot give a detailed review... regardless .. you have the link .. good luck !

I tried it, all you do is put in ur e-mail and a password and ur in, that parts easy. So's getting the domain, they ask of a 10 dollar deposite to prevent spammers (which is reasonable) and they will refund the money if you choose to delete your domain. Im only 15 so I cant really use paypal or anything to continue on, but it said the domain is yours for life. But there is a banner at the top of your page (heres an example). If any1 tries it, let me know.
