Help with my logo design, PLEASE

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to review my request. My web address is www.sullitool.com, I have just started my own business, and I am in the machine tool industry (lathes, vertical machining center, and horizontal machine center) and supply set-up reduction and process improvement solutions to the aerospace, defense, auto, heavy equipment, energy, technology, medical, and commercial industries. I represent two world class and ISO manufacturing companies (www.smwautoblok.com www.royalprod.com) in Southern California. My business is primary male dominated (think NASCAR or off road) and I work with corporate executives, purchasing departments, engineers, and machinist. I already have a logo design (attached) but feel the design needs some updating. I would like my company to be viewed as stable with heritage, a company with tradition. At the same time, it needs to be positioned as an innovated and forward thinking company. The clover mark needs some adjustments to give it more dimensions. The overall shaping and color dates the company, I think. A newer, fresh color of green (presently PMS343) with smoother leaf shaping may do the trick and the front may need some freshen-up as well. The logo will be reproduced on business cards, envelopes, letterhead, golf shirts, and customer give-a-way’s.

All I can say is; WOW! Thanks for the quick response and the awesome looking new Sulli Tool & Supply logo; it is truly a pretty piece of string, as you say! What about the clover mark, do you think it should be toughen-up a little right around the stem area or it looks good as is? Concerning the STS lettering should it be white lettering or something like silver/chrome? You are the talented graphic artist and the expert and so,.. I trust your opinion (s).


I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work, insight, and expertise. I love the new STS logo layout; you hit all the key marks and objectives of my requested and I am thrilled to death!
