Well evidentally someone liked it exactly the way it is, or else he wouldn't have got a scholarship... Personally I like scootys portfolio a little better because it sort of has that Web 2.0 feel to it, and I am not a big fan of minimalism simply because too little and people may not have any idea what the heck you are offering. But they are both really good.
