Need a cool logo for Fire and Iron Station 104. Woulf prefer something related to the fire service that is not cartoonish. This is a firefighters motorcycle club.

Think we should call you "Rooster" since everyone in Toccoa probably does.
Fire and Iron is a National Club with Registered Colors - so what gives - are you boys and girls going renegade up there near the Falls or just looking for a local patch?

If it's for a local patch we can most likely help - renegade well then that's a different story - I may have to ride up your way and straighten you out.

You think you could elaborate just a tad more as to what you want.
Example: Like Maltese Cross with certain words and a Scull in the center with flames around the cross and the cross in iron or A bike equipped like a fire truck with flames or maybe the famous Toccoa Falls putting out the city on fire.
An maybe some links to graphics you like. (this one always helps)

Guess i forgot to mention that this is a Station logo, Nope.....not goin renegade!!! actually, I was thinking of something like crossed axes with a fire helmet in the middle with our Station # (104) on the front with flames or some kind of tribal background. Not exactly sure what would look good. Some kind of cool text. FIRE & IRON on top of graphic and STATION 104, GA. on the bottom of the graphic. I'd like to add this to our website and to have on t-shirts also.

I've seen other Stations with cool logos, but don't want to copy any of theirs.

Now we are getting some where.
I'll see what I can do and I am sure there will be others who are willing to help out for the Fire Fighters of Toccoa, GA STATION 104.

I guess now when the wife and I ride up your way, it will be for a visit.
Look south down 575, will be coming for Canton.

Hey if while you are waiting you can always post on other topics around the forum.

    Website

Our website is www.fireandiron104.webs.com. One of our members made it with a "free" website template company. We pay around 10 bucks a month to have the ads off. Please check it out. If anyone has any ideas they are welcomed.

All right - I looked at every other F&I station logos and decided yours need to be punched up a notch. Since you said it was to go on to the website and t-shirts, which is cheaper to print and allows me total freedom in design as opposed to a patch style.

I really liked Station 62 out of Texas. Who ever made that Maltese Cross is a real artist.
There were others that were pretty good.

I didn't come up with a really cool font for this design but instead used one that would lend itself toward the iron look. For the station number I fell back on my days of a youth visiting my uncles in the old firehouses in Chicago (one was a Battalion Chief and one a Division Chief both since passed) so I went with that classic look.

Incorporated 2 axes around the Maltese Cross, well you get the idea.

Read your post about your site and I might be able to help you there.
I send you something in a email.

Anyway tell me what you think.

I'll see what I can do.
Past couple of days had to spend time with son and daughter-in-law as she was in the hospital. Took a moment this morning to jump on line.

Thanks for you concern. I had some time while waiting to make the changes.
Put together a Harley on both sides, bumped up the text as it just looked to small , changed the shading and fixed a few mistakes.
So you being nit picky is a good thing. When you make something it's always best to have others look at it and tell you what needs changing. Besides my mind wasn't even thinking oh those are crotch rockets. I was just thinking the lettering would look good.

Look this one over and tell me what needs changing or fixing.
The one here is in a jpg format so when we get to where you like it, I will zip up a few sizes in a png format, for the web and for the printers.

I'll send them in a email as the one for the printer will be large.
The second graphic is the wire frame model of the logo. I just thought I would post it for the others to see what vector drawing looks like.
The fire takes the most screen area.

Almost forgot, I looked around your site and thought this might be of use.
If you think you can use it just right click and save as. It's already is in a png format, so it will fit right in the website.
Got your pm I answer it in the email with the final graphics.

That one is perfect!!!!! Even better than I imagined. Also, thanks for doing one for Stephanie's Ride, her dad works at the fire dept also. I will pass it on to him also if you dont mind. I'm sure that he and his wife would be grateful. Thanks a bunch for your time in doing this.
