When I first came to your site, I thought the Google Search was a search for your forum, however when I used the search it turned out to be a regular Google Search. Maybe consider using the Google Search where you can include "Search The Web" and "Search Forums".

Also, from the name and topics of this forum I thought it had something to do with a college or something, but seeing the Google AdWords at the top made me feel more like this site was meant to make the owner money. So a little confusion for me there.

I think maybe also you might want to revisit the footer. When I scrolled down and saw that I kind of felt like all those words were being put in my face (and they weren't even links to anything).

I have a feeling you put those words in the footer for SEO purposes. It's definitely best to design for humans first and then Googlebot. There are plenty of other ways to attract search engines aside from keyword stuffing.

Its looking good. But could be better. I mean you can add more seminar subject.

I agree with John as well as that search box seems to be very long by size.

Yeah it looks like a forum style template. I would make it more web 2.0 looking if you are going after the college seminar market.

In my honest opinion i think that the colours are to similar to each others, and it makes the site die a little... Beiond that the site has too many information in the opening page, so it becomes confuse to who visits it...

    but it´s just my opinion...

Try putting your Google ads between major subjects in your site
(ie remove the three at the top and place them between subjects - just one each)
Try using a drop down menu, it will go good with your site
You have 48 validation warnings which can be automatically corrected with HTML Tidy
Your trying to reach college kids, add affiliates for computers, ipods, cell phones, debit cards, etc.
Put them between subjects (where you don't have Google ads).

    hope this helps

Your colors are very bland. How about some text? All I see is links. I don't see any point in having two links in the navigation to seminar and project downloads. At least this page has an attractive header. Perhaps work up a similar header for home and the other pages to make them more attractive and consistent to this page.

Also, no need for all the keyword stuffing in your page title.
