preloaders

    is it necessary that preloaders should be used? what is the advantage of the same?

    When it comes to Flash it's not a bad idea. It gives the viewer something to look at while your file is loading and visually tells them somthing is happening, the page is loading.
    Otherwise they might leave.
    Just look at some of "T3-Web" posts he has links to many of his sites.
