Hello, I'm taking over the website for our Remote Control RC PLane website www .evansvillercclub. com. I think the current website looks to drab and I'd like to bring it up to date. I have looked all over and can not find a template that relates to RC planes. Anyone know of such templates? Thanks.
Hello and welcome to FWT. I can help if you would like to use one of the templates here on this site or one from my partner’s site. I’m developing a CMS in which you can use to easily convert those templates as well as any templates you may find. Please take a look at this thread to get more info about this project.
I am into RC Planes ill be happy to look and give my opinion though right now abt all I can do is offer suggestions as I am just learning. One thing a lot of clubs do is on their front page have an overhead view of their field and post the longitude and latitude of it. you can usually do this with an image from google earth. Here is a couple links to some nice layouts to give you some ideas Freeport Illinois Radio Control Modelers Main Page | The Aurora Barnstormers R/C Club Home Page The Fox Valley Aero Club Hope that will give you some ideas but like said an overhead view of the field is always cool on the front page. I couldnt find my link but one places looks like an actual airport Joe

Hey Falcon, take a look at the link again. It is www.evansvillercclub.COM I helped him with his other website a while back with this but he rather do it himself. As you can see, the one I did it passed validation and his got quite a few errors. You will see that most people will be satisfied if the page just showing up the way they want it to look. They are not too picky with correctness. BTW, he made an attempt of taking over the site but looks like he has abandoned it.
Sorry Falcon. You got the domain right; looks like after he took over the website he dropped that one and registered a new one with .net suffix. I must have a lot of time on my hand.
I took over as the webmaster for our clubs website at the beginning of the year and the fellow who had it before me wouldn't contact me with any infomation so I had to get a new domain name. I think the template that I found looks great and everyone in the club is pleased and that's all that counts. The current website is evansvillrcclub.net.
