School Logo Needed

    Hi guys,

    REALLY need you help on this one. I voluntarily maintain the School's website, however, I usually refrain from includings its logo, because its so out of date, and there is only ONE electronic image of the logo, and it's quality is rubbish.

    The school wants me to re-design the logo, but keep the images pretty much the same (so shield, key fish, grain) but more modernised.

    I recently found a tutorial online that shows a shield similar to how I would the new one created (graphics wise) and thats located here:

    I'll give it a go, dear. Any specific colors you want?

    Is that seriously the best image you have???? What do you mean by 'grain?' What about the key on that logo? Do you want that kept?

    I'm guessing that's two stalks of wheat crossed over on the top right.
    The shield shape you've chosen is easily recreated.
    As for colours, the same green and white tonings?

    That my friend, is absolutely amazing!

    Although could you maybe change the colours to Red and Navy (thats the School's official colours) , they've been using green recently, but I know if I dont get a Navy/Red version aswell, they'll kick off, lol!

    I'll do the colour alteration tonight.
    Is that red on a navy shield or vice versa?
    Also, do you want some white in it?

    Yeah sorry, should have said that, its a navy shield with the red. As for the white, its not important, but if it makes it easier for you then go for it. Honestly, its your work, and Im very appreciative of what your doing :-D

    Also, and I dont want you to think I'm taking the piss, as im not, I am really really gratfeul for this. But was just wondering if you could maybe make the House shields aswell, which would be really simple for you (not for me, lol)

    Basically - Each house is named after a saint, so for example I would want a big 'D' in the middle of the Shield for St. D with the colours of yellow.

    St David - D - Yellow

    St George - G - Red

    St Patrick - P - Green

    St Andrew - A - Blue

    If its too much trouble, then don't worry, I realise im asking too much already!

    Although may I just ask, what font you used for the lettering? it's really good!

    The font on the house letters is "Rockwell" Bold at 330pts. There's also been an outer stroke and bevel applied to it.
