Logos football club crest

hi guys im looking for some help been on photoshop for days and still cant use the bloody thing im trying to make a football club crest for a local football team I run for the youths.
I tried making a crest but they look awful and tacky is there any one here that can help me
are club is called stoneham youth

Hi thx for your reply im looking for suggestions I know my way round a computer but when it comes to design in something I'm clueless I'm looking for something in the shape of Liverpool football club badge but with out the bird and the never walk alone part

Perhaps it would be easier for us to help if you provided more information about what you're trying to create? For instance, what your club colors are, whether you have a mascot/symbol of some sort, or a landmark/distinctive feature of your town that you'd like represented on your crest? If you're looking for suggestions, those would all be good elements to include in your design. You could also play around with the shield shapes ishkey has shared with you above, and maybe take a look at some of our past requests for more inspiration.
