    Hello,

Hope you're all fine. I've been through a lot of requests on this forum and I'm really impressed by the talent of all the designers, really !

So I'd like to take this opportunity to 'offer' to my wife a logo for her main hobby : paper mache

I've already opened a new post in the Free Website Templates section : https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forums/threads/paper-mache-sculptures.24266/

I guess the logo has to be created first in order to be embedded into the website. :)

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

    Jujubulle
Créatrice de sculptures en papier mâché

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name) ?

    http://www.jujubulle.be/

I'm the owner of this website. Don't pay attention to the content. It's just a crappy old mockup...

    3) Description of your website or business :

Please check the description given in my other request : https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forums/threads/paper-mache-sculptures.24266/

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for ?

    http://www.kcmd.com.au/

Full of bright colours, no frills, round shapes, white background, easy to embed into a website. Same remarks for the following logos :

    http://designbynocturn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/bubble-logo.jpg

    5) Requested size of your logo :

Low resolution is enough. Logo will be used for the web and also for business cards.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo ? (must be copyright free)

I'm not in favour of integrating an item or something else. I don't want to link the name 'Jujubulle' only to paper mache as she likes also other artistic domains (painting, home design, etc...).

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.) ?

As explained in #6, text only.

Jujubulle is her artist name which is the contraction of my wife's nickname (Juju) and the french word 'bulle' (bubble in English) as she makes all her sculptures with round shapes.

Créatrice de sculptures en papier mâché ('paper mache sculptures designer' in English) is the description of her main activity.

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo ?

Bright colors. White background and then plenty of different colors (as shown in #4).

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo ?

    No pastel colors, please.

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo

Even if paper mache might remind your childhood, target audience is not kids at all. :D It's for trendy people mainly.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo ?

    Happiness, simplicity and freshness.

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.) ?

    Website, mail signature, business card.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share ?

    Nope.

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.

Either 'Amandine' or 'J'aime bien le dimanche' (both can be found on daFont). But it's just a preference (i.e. not mandatory). :D

You're right, Phil, papier mâché does remind me of my childhood. I think I used a plastic bowl as a mold... to make a papier mâché bowl. Terribly creative, I know

Anyway, thanks for the very detailed request. It'll give our designers plenty to work with :) While you wait, do stick around and help out around the forum if you can!

    Thanks for your feedback !

Yes, I remember I offered a papier mâché ashtray to my mom... while she was not smoking ! :p

I'd really like to help other people but there's not so many unanswered requests left.

Sure thing @Rico. Nice sketches! I really like the one you've labeled #1 (y)

@Mildju you could always do a website review, or tell us about your favorite free software/website/whatever. Or you could simply join in our conversations on other threads! :)

@Rico The way you understand my requirements is amazing and you've been so fast ! Great job, really ! (y)

So far my preference goes to the very 1st model : font, colors, various size and location of the bubbles/circles. And I could even use the same model with the black background for business cards. :)

@Rico Dear Rico, may I ask you your study #1 with the sans-serif font ? I'd just like to see how it looks like by removing the 'serifs' from the 'u' characters. :)

Hey @Mildju! What do you mean by Study #1 with sans-serif font? I think @Rico made everything with a sans-serif font, right? :p

@Ruthe I think he may have meant that he wants the terminal (?) of the letter 'U' removed, like so:
    u.jpg

@Ruthe Hi Ruthe ! As Dawn mentioned, I was talking about the 'terminal' (thx for the exact term) of the letter 'U'. I used the 'sans-serif' terminology based on the following wikipedia page : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sans-serif ;)

    Ah okay! :)

Changing the U would take the uniqueness out of the logo and make it look like a font rather than a creation.
It would be like stating to the world My wife makes paper mache just like everyone else.

forgot to add I think Rico just nailed it with the first logo.

@Mildju, this is already a sans-serif font i used but i got what you mean, i have taken the terminal on the "u" as based from what you want to happen. Cheers
