Legacy A kids football team Badge

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping some of you may be able to help. I have tried to learn some photoshop to do this but have to admit that it is way beyond my skill set

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The football/soccer team is called EK Stars and would also like est 2009

2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
At the moment we don't have one but I will be looking to set that up in the next week or so

3) Description of your website or business:
It is a kids football/soccer team

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
I would like the design on a shield. I had made something up http://tinypic.com/r/vz80gh/5 but to be honest its not very good. I also tried to insert a football into it but that was even worse

5) Requested size of your logo:
The logo will be printed onto the kids new strips


6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
N/A

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I would like it to be text and image if possible

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
The teams colours are mainly white with red and black.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
I would like to stick to the teams colours as much as possible

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
It will be going on the kids strips so it will be seen by all

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
That its a football/soccer club and stars. I would also like it to have a fun feel

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
It will be printed on the kids strips and also used on the website

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
No

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
To be honest, I have no preference on the font.

Yes there are. Unfortunately the person who designed the website and owns the domain name will not release it to us after a less than amicable split between some of the previous coaches/committee. So this is why we are in the process of trying to rebrand the team and move the website to something else
