General a new member, guide me to edit templets

Respected Experts,
for the last few months i am trying to edit from templets, till now i have used Dream weaver and photooshop. but i am not femelier with Web Design, but i am a 2d Designer.

so pls be kind to guide me to editing app to use a templet.also i am in need to make my own personal CSS website.

The easiest way to edit templates is to use those that are already available such as from this site. If you find one you like I can help you to set it up in your website.

i am to offer tour packages, well, after getting, i will self do the digital designing and adding names and content writing.

First go to this site and test out the template. If you are happy with it then do the following:

Get w-CMS from here and install it in your webhost (current version 2.01). Instruction can be found here.

Get the Charity Trust template from here and install it in the same folder as your w-CMS.

If no errors encountered you should able to access the Charity Site by entering http://yourdomain.com/charitytrust/

Update the site by logging into the site as admin. Initial password is admin, change it if you wish.

i havnt' got the idea from where i can edit this templet. as i am a 2d Designer, i can make graphics and do content writing. the only problm is the website structure designing.

You must install w-CMS and the Charity template first before I can guide you to edit the template.

how do u get rid of the blank sides

i have a template but theres white background showing on the left and right, how do u get rid of the blank sides?

yea the one on the left, but when i open it theres white space on eaither side, like the stripes on eaither side of this site.

 

Here is mine and here is the original. They both look the same to me and I don't see any stripes. Can you post the link to your template? If not, can you post your code? Thanks.
