Legacy Band logo request

Hi all, i recently started a band with a few of my friends and we are still looking for a logo.

1) Our name is Daydream, we don't have a website yet.
2) We are a dutch power metal band. however we dont want anything with dutch in the logo. Our biggest examples are Sonata Arctica, Metallica and Nightwish.
3) 3 logo's we really like are:
- Sonata Arctica's logo, it is pretty simple, but i love how they put the 2 A's in on symbol.
- Metallica's logo, it is pretty simple, but love the hooks and stuff on the M and E, and of course the ninja star is just awesome.
- other cool logos are the ones of dragonforce, gamma ray and things like that.
4) Doesn't really matter. something bigger is probably easier, cause we can shrink it and then there is good quality.
5) Don't have any pictures that should be used.
6) Probably something blueish and shiny, but it doesnt really matter.

we'd really like some symbol included in the name. I mean one of the letters is like a symbol, like in Sonata Arctica's logo the 2 A's. Maybe even that this symbol can be a short logo on itself?

Hello, I hesitate to propose my service again because I'm fed with people who ask for things and don't give any news once they have asked for changes. It's not fair because we spend time on it.
I also don't want that my work appears under the name of someone else again !! We do logos for free but we stay the author of our work.

Oh erm, maybe like a PSD file? so i can change the backgroundcolor to whatever backgroundcolor i need it for like a site or something? oh and is it possible to delete the like shadowy spikes? i just would like to see what it looks like,

No Spike Shadow

This took me like an hour, but here it is without spiky shadows. Give me some time to scan them both, raise the quality, and get the files ready if you like
PS-I also thought you may like the black silk looking one, so i did it

 

wow its really nice thanks your really awesome with this :O thanks for your effort! ill wait for the files btw i listened to a few of your tracks XD its not really my style, because i always laugh about the voice, sounds a little like rectal smegma but its not bad
