I have the slave to the game template. And i need the navigation buttons to have different text.I tried repeatedly to do this on my own,these are the areas i failed in...i couldnt find the exact font,when i painted over them and used a different font...you could see a small circle of color behind the text..like you could tell it had been alterd.I then tried removing all the layers and creating new layers and then adding text..yet i could still see a small amount of color behind the text..i then tried totally going with a different style of button...and with my limited knowledge of css this became quickly an exercise in futility{unless someone can clue me in}so finally i,m here aking if someone can create the following button images..same color same text..i would like one to say BLOG,JOIN,EMAIL, and lastly if it can fit to replace the sponsors button...RAKEBACK...or if you can give me advice in where i,m failing..i dont have photoshop i was using gimp2.thanks in advance for any help..you all have always been great!
Hello again Jimmy! I'll take a look at that template tomorrow and see if I can fix up those buttons for you. By the way, I've heard good things about Gimp 2 so persevere with it and practice lots. Then when you're a real pro you can help us out with graphic requests! Cheers mate CP
Here's a zip of the altered buttons. Not sure what order you wanted them in or where in the header they're supposed to go. The file names are the same, you'll need to change them and their association in the CSS file too. (by the way, that's a really awful font for small text)
ok i,m hoping i,m wrong here but... these are for my navigation bar..right under the banner...all the backgrounds are red..the ones you sent all the text are red..is this just because i,m previewing them?
ok i just double checked the ones i need are white text red back ground...i,m sorry for wasting your time the buttons i,m trying to replace are matches,sponsors,servers,downloads,ect
Err, hang on. I think I might be working with the wrong template. Is that the one with the header picture of a bald guy in a suit holding a gun?
Okay we're on the right track now. Below is a screen shot of that bar. You can help me out by telling me which ones you want left unchanged and which ones are to be replaced with what text.
ROSTER becomes EMAIL,MATCHES becomes JOIN,SPONSORS becomes RAKEBACK, and ABOUT US becomes BLOG..i apologize if i caused any confusion,and i honestly do appreciate the help.Thank you very much for your time and patience covert pea!
I think I've got it right this time. The images I've changed text on are jpg files: headernav_02, 03, 04 and 07. Let me know if you have any more problems CP
