    Hi all,

New to the forums, not so new to the website but, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a logo for my new business. I graduated in December last year and without a graphic design background I'm finding it difficult to come up with a suitable logo for my newly established clinic.

I have a website (www.espina.co.uk) and a general theme of browns and golds, and have image rights to all images on my website but I'm a little unsure where to go from there to design a logo. Ideally I would like to include the curly bamboo image as part of the logo but cannot find this image on it's own anywhere.

The clinic is called, 'Espina Chiropractic Clinic' and the font I have previously used for the name is 'Edwardian Script ITC'.

All help would be extremely appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Hi Dan

Can I ask if you own the above image, then do you have a PSD layer file for it? if you do it would help if you could attach it so that the designers can work with it.

Also as per the sticky post, don't forget to try and help out around the forum (website reviews, introduce yourself are a good place to start) as we are a give and take forum

    No Problem

    Hi,

No problem, I'll have a look around and see how I can help. Sorry, new to all this.

Unfortunately I don't have the PSD layer to the image, I bought the image as part of the website. It doesn't specifically have to be that bamboo shoot, but I was just throwing in some ideas of where to start I guess.

Thanks for getting back to me and I'll help out where possible.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Have you thought about using that picture?
Say something like this - put into a medallion and some bamboo leaves.
You stated it's use to be on "Headed paper and business flyers"

    Thanks

    Hi,

I do like that logo, and I have tried a number of similar things myself using the image as a whole. I might try and get hold of the psd file to separate the layers and I can then work with the bamboo shoot on its own.

Thank you for all your help, it has given me some ideas. I'll update the thread when I have a better starting point for people to go from.

    Cheers again,

    Dan

Good idea trying to get a hold of the psd file to obtain the bamboo shoot to work with.
It would take an enormous amount of time to try to remove it as is and still not look right. Kinda like you working all week long on 10 patients a day and at the end of the week you realize you made no progress.

Thanks, I thought so too but seems lately alot of requesters just aren't sure what they really want or I just lost my ability to figure to out.

    added -
Just realized you will find the graphic in the Fla file, which is used to create the girl3_fv8.swf file listed on your site.

If you're still after the graphic in layers I've had a go at separating the bamboo from the pic.
