My name is Michael Jarrell and I live in the greatest state in the nation, West Virginia. I know many other people on here have claimed this same title for their home state but WV is the greatest. I am a Mine Engineer for Massey Energy. I do alot of surveying underground coal mines. It is a little dangerous but I love my job. The reason I found this site is that I am looking for a softball team logo for my daughters team which I also coach. I love coaching the little girls and I try to do anything I can do to make the game fun for them. Of course, cute uniforms are at the top of an 8 year olds wish list. I have tried many times unsuccessfully to do graphics design but I just dont have the know how. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope to be a regular visitor.
Welcome to FWT Michael! I did see your logo request post and I'm sure we could come up with something suitable. What I WOULD like to see is the actual team member's ideas posted here in a sketch form (no wider than 700 pxs) How about holding some kind of competition with the kids for the best new team crest design? I always try to get the girls opinions and thats how we ended up with the name heartbreakers last year. But Im on a tight time frame this season. We draft new players on Sunday March 14 and I need to have my logo turned in on that date so that we can have unis by March 29 which is opening day. I just dont have time to wait to talk to the players this season.
