1) Inside Jae Cy's Mind 2) Jaecy.com is my blog. I am a Model/ Publicist/ Pop Artist and Fashionista. I also offer my Public Relations services on my blog. I create press kits for artists, products and services. 3) I like this logo because.. who doesn't love the Rolling Stones? I love music. There's something about the treble clef. I feel like this logo represents my passion for music. I like this logo because I'm a Gemini. I not really deep into zodiac stuff but it's what I am. 4) This logo will be used on the web and on my business cards 6) My favorite colors are purple, pink and light blue. Any of these colors would be great.
I like it but, that's not really what I'm looking for. The J looks a little too much like an S and I honestly don't like the camera.
While MrKS is recantering his thoughts, why don't you JaeCy exsert your tallents and scoot on over and give a review of someones website.
This is better. I really would love to incorporate the treble clef. I would prefer the logo to only say "Jae Cy"
just Jae Cy or your website name jaecy09.wordpress.com? the colors you like won't match the flame or do you just want some sorta treble clef? what about the font style? all good questions to narrow this down.
I was thinking there's a part of the Treble clef that "to me" looks like a "J" I would like to use that "J" consumed in fire atop one of the stone/ steel iron "C's" from the Gemini symbol I supplied. Those two symbols inside the glossy circle shown in the Rolling Stone logo. Is that possible?
Right Ishkey. Scratch the colors I like lol. And I would prefer just "Jae Cy" because I will use this logo for my website and business cards .
to me" looks like a "J" = the bottom - correct one of the stone/ steel iron "C's" like below J C where does the name in the circle?
Just can not get the flame thing and the sample is coyrighted. Tried several different ways. This is my last shot at it. Someone else jump in. Sorry JaeCy.
Dave - I found a tutorial that may be useful to get that effect you're after on the 'J' Here: Photoshop Tutorials - Burning Lava Text or you could tell me what that font is and I'll have a go at it. CP
here's what I was working with but the font was to small even at 180pt http://psd.tutsplus.com/tutorials/text-effects-tutorials/dramatic-text-on-fire-effect-in-photoshop/ I couldn't get the the shadow right to overlay the proper look. I even tried to use a displacement map but it just didn't look right. font is in the zip A Charming Font Superexpanded
Thank you guys so much for trying. I'll check back in for updates but if you guys move on to more pressing business I'll understand.
Here's another try. Looks better on a black or dark grey background. By the way Dave, I gave up on that annoying tutorial too, flames were made using Eye Candy plugin.
