Hi, I'm in a middle of implementing the Food & Drink Directory/Review website and need your help to design our business logo. 1. The website is vieteatery.com 2. Restaurant/Food/Beverage Review & Directory website 3. Attached are the logos that I designed myself, but not very happy with it and need a professional opinion and touch. 4. Prefer Black & Red with translucence background and the size 282x102 pixels for web Thank you very much for your help!
I don't think you need to change anything, they are both very good as they are. I would say that no. 1's text next to no. 2's 'Xe' logo thing may be a nice combo.
I agree with Recidivist.. They are both great designs and probably changing what he just said would fit it quite well give it a go and see what it looks like...post it up for us to see Also have a look around the forum if there's someone in need of help and you know the answer then simply help them out Thanks

Those really are great looking logos but I just don't see them blending in with the orange background on your site. I really like the second one, it has a certain punch and look to it. It's the kinda of logo you remember, just stands out. I would go with that one and change the orange banner to blend in with it. and if needed rework the colors on the joomla template.
In agreeance with the other guys. I prefer the second one, although I'd steer clear of the gradient on the 2nd line of text as it makes it look washed out. You're on a winner there mate! By the way, with the amount of requests for logos we receive, we could sure use another talented graphics person around here. (hint hint) Cheers CP
@CovertPea - Got your hint and I will try my best after my website project @iskey - You are correct, the website will be revamped and changed completely with the design template, looks and feels.
