Attached is the number of browser hits on one of my web pages today. Even though Firefox is a better browser the specs show more people use MSie when surfing the web. So when you are programming keep that in mine.
I'm using the latest version of firefox and IE7. In using a hotmail account, I had problems with photos loading. Anything sent by those with @msn.com wouldn't work - For me, when on MSN, I use a browser supplied by Microsoft -
i like firefox and flock (used to navigate with netscape ) but opera has an interesting interface...I think it uses some java ...do you know something about it??
Is this the only people we have that use the internet. I am amazed that we few are the only ones who have computers.
I also use FireFox 3 beta. I think it's the more informed Internet users, bloggers, and designers who go with the alternate better browsers. For everyone else, like my parents, they just use what comes with their computer.
I hate when I ask somebody to google for smth...and they simple click on the IE icon and wait half an hour until it opens a page....and as a question..I've heard that IE is the most hacked and attacked web browser...is it real?? if u ask me which is the best browser i think konqueror (hope I spelled its name corectly) because is a linux system browser...Linux is free many servers use it so...in this case isn't the conqueror the best web browser at speed and coneection with the servers...If anybody uses linux tell me your opinion compairig the windows browsers and the linux browsers
I've also heard this. And I pretty sure this is real. Its a scary thought. That's why I always use Firefox 3.
I'm using two versions of FireFox: 2.0.0.11 and 3 (at home). But I have Opera and IE installed as well, for testing purposes.
I'm a bigtime Opera user, it's sleek and fast. use IE7 much of the time and use Firefox 2 for SEO and web design
I think that is normal because many hackers try to attack microsoft and if they are trying to slow down the OS the best way is over the internet through a web browser ...through their webbrowser^&^ Ie^&^ *// personal opinion*//.... Oh and I also use the other browsers for testing... Does anybody know other browsers for mobile phones...i use opera....but I can/t access the wap with it so I have to use the nokia browser
I use IE at home but I also use Firefox2 in the office. Both of them work good for me but Mozilla has more features
Firefox is SO MUCH BETTER! you can make it hundreds of times faster and it just has tons of cooler features!best security and IE is strong
since this first post on 4-13-08 to now 8-13-08. here is todays browsers listings. If you go back and read several posts - "my web doesn't look the same in ie or firefox." Remember it's all in how you code your page. You may like one browser over the other, but your goal is so everyone can view it. After all you put that web up for a reason. Didn't you!
I'm surprised not to see GoogleChrome on that list. Even though it's beta, it became very popular very fast at my office. Then again, my office has a lot of nerds. I use FF3 but only because I hate it less than the other browsers, and has 2 or 3 addictive tools : (
Firefox for ever! Once i lnew Firefox, never again even bother taking a look to the IE logo! LOL. regards...
