Hi, I am new here and hoped this is the ideal place to get the help i need. I am looking for some help and advise on creating a badge for a new football club that is an amalgamation of 2 clubs into one for the 2012/13 season. I am happy to do reviews or make a donation for your help guys

    1. What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
This is variable. Our "official" name is Whiteleas Harton & Westoe FC, our "unofficial" name is Harton & Westoe FC or we would be happy with either WHWFC or HWFC

    2. What is your website address.
http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/whiteleashartonwestoefc/ the website is brand new and a work in progress and is not yet made public for viewing

    3. Description of your website or business.
    Amateur football club.

    4. Search the internet for any logos/designs that you feel convey the style you are looking for.
This is really tricky,i have looked and looked and lots are nice but its hard to give a specific as we are a brand new cluband open to ALL ideas for the badge. Our ground is on the site of an old mining pit and the ground name is Harton & Westoe Miners Welfare so if anything could be incorporated around a mining pit that would be great

    5. Requested size of logo.
It will be used on the club website, Team kit and as part of a letter head so we're open to suggestions.

    6. Do you have any copyright free images/photos that can be used for the logo.
    No, sorry.

    7. What logo styles do you like.
    Text & Image

    8. What colours do you want to see in your logo.
Our club colours are yellow as the main colour, with dark green and orange as secondary colours..ive attached a photo of our new kit so you can see the colours used. The badge needs to look good on the strip and possibly be changeable to fit on a completely different coloured away shirt.

    9. What colours do you NOT want to see in your logo.
    Red. Blue.

    10. Desribe the target audience for logo.
Potential new players. Lads in their late teens, early twenties.

    11. What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo.
Something stylish and unique that shows us as force to be reckoned with. It would be nice to have thedate of our existence incorporated too (which would be 2012)

    12. Where will the logo be used.
On the team kit, training kit, club website, possibly facebook/Twitter.

    13. Do you have any other info or links you would like to share.
    No

    14. The style of font you prefer.
    Flexible. Bold and simple.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi nella81

Thought I'd get the ball rolling, went very simple (which normally the best) easy to change colour and keeps the costs down.

I like it cheers 1970forest, I like its simplicity. im not sure jf it would be better for the badge to have a border like a shield or some kind of "base" if you get what I mean? I love the mine image though, thats definately a goer! would be good to have a few different ideas to take to the committe for consultation. would t be possible to incorporate green and orange in somehow somewhere ?

I think it looks great as 1970Forest displayed it. As you say over there Spot On.

I agree its really good, I just thought for it to ave some kind of proper border to make it stand out a little better on the strip so it looks like its a proper badge if that makes sense?
maybe a circular double border the outside covering the whole badge annd an inside border to house the wording.....I dont know 'm not great at design

hi forest , just wondering what I need to do to get thethe completed version of thebadge? so I can put it to the committee?
also would it be possible to leave the slogan space empty and we can fill it ourselves once we come up with the right one for our club?
thank you so much for your help, the finished product in my eyes is exactly what we are looking

unus team unus calx (one team one goal)
validus ut a team (stronger as a team)
nunquam perdo os of calx (never lose sight of the goal)

Now your PM makes sense :ROFLMAO:

Like this?, but you may want to think about the circle having a permanent colour (note; blue & pink represent the kit material)
