Legacy Nottingham History Society Football Crest

Hi- we're from the Nottingham University History Society and wondered if you could help us design a crest.


With regards to Crest Shape: we like the Barcelona design...

As we’re a History Society- we’re open to anything History Related on the actual crest. I have put below an image of the trenches from WW1 and the leaders from WW2. But we’re open to any images from Henry VIII- to the middle ages- to images of modern day history.

Ideally the Logo should be the size of a normal football crest.

Finally- The main colour of our Society is Red- but we’re fine with using any other colours on the design.

Yes we are! You also did a football crest for our politics team 'Real Politik'.

Basically we are looking for a new football crest for our history society football team. Some of the ideas are listed above.

The main colours are red, black and white. We would like a historical theme...any would do.

I like the colours and I like the knight- it's historical.

Please could we either have "University of Nottingham" at the top of the badge and "History F.C." at the bottom.

OR

"Nottingham University
History F.C."

on two lines at the bottom of the badge.

CP- great effort but Im afraid the boys arent so keen so we were wondering if you could change it- no rush at all obviously.

Change the bottom stripes to red and black.

Change the gold surrounding colour to yellow.

Change 'FCB' to 'History FC'

Second Crest

CP you're a star. Since you're so good we are going to request another crest! The last one was for the History football team- this is for the History society in general.

There is absolutely no rush- I am well aware that we have already used a large amount of your time already.

However, when you are free, we would like the following:

We would like a grand crest like this: http://www.roush.org/rausch.gif but get rid of the soldier and helmet at the top (maybe put a crown instead like on this logo: http://images.quickblogcast.com/92912-88346/real_madrid_logo.png or maybe a helmet: http://www.fotosearch.com/bthumb/UNC/UNC315/u20033081.jpg

I like the leafy bits on the side- if we could keep red and white on the right and go white and blue on the left like this: http://www.su-web.nottingham.ac.uk/~lcricket/Crest.gif

As for the shield- the shape is good- please would you get rid of the middle square but keep the quarters, just turning the brown colour white.

In the white quarters please could we have this logo again: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/bennett-lab/nottm.gif

and in the red corner please could we have the black horse again like in the football badge.

At the top of the shield please could we have a long banner saying 'Nottingham University" and at the bottom "History Society" like on the football badge.

Just felt like being nosey and I have to say I prefer the first badge to the Barcelona one you chose. It's just more original and cooler.

Would'nt some guns be good in the badge too Considering Nottingham is the gun culture capital of the UK? lol only joking.....please don't shoot me.

There should be a section of this site where u can vote for the best badge/logo/banner designs.
