Paranormal Investigation Logo!

    Hey guys, I want a really awesome paranormal investigation logo for my group. We are Warrick Indiana Paranormal Society (WIPS) and right now our logo is really bland. We need something that will automatically catch the eye of someone and just pop so that they automatically see that we are different from every other group out there. Here is our website, www.wipsparanormal.blogspot.com. I would really appreciate if you guys can help me out. Do what you want with the logo and whoever's logo gets picked we will be featuring their name on our website and merchandise!!! We are a really popular group in our area and we really hope you can help us out!

    As far as colors I'm not picky at all, whatever looks good. I'm a big fan of black, green, blue, just your typical colors associated with ghost hunting.

    I'm just looking for something original so I don't really have three logos that I really like. I want something different and exciting.

    As far as sizing, it will be used on the website, tv shirts, hoodies, hats, all kinda of things so it needs to have a decent resolution on it.

    The website is mostly black with various outlines square colors in the back. Our shirts will also be black or white.

    @WIPS10 thank you very much for helping out around the forum your website reviews are of great help and great quality. Well done and keep it up hope it's the first of many :)

    I'm sure the designers and me will be glad to help you out. It may take some time as we are finishing off other requests however, we will get around to doing yours. Within that time feel free to help out anyone in any sections of the forum as you are doing.

    Thanks man, yeah I will probably hang up my hat for tonight. I play to at least post a couple of things everyday to see how much help I can be. For everyone that ends up making up a logo for me I just want to say thank you in advance and it means a lot!!!

    Regarding this paragraph..
    Can you give us at least some ideas of what you consider 'different' and 'exciting'??
    Most people think of ghosts when they see "paranormal". As a graphics person I think 'paranormal' and picture whispy, ghoulish text.
    (Not what you'd consider 'different' though)

    Speaking of whispy text...
    Maybe I'll get the ball rolling, and yes, it's whispy, ghoulish text. :)

    Yeah that's really cool. I saw a logo on this site that was normal text then had this kind of sliding handprint which was really cool. Something that shows paranormal in all its entirety dead, spirits, demons, monsters, and all of that.



    I like all three of these just because they are unique in the fact that they don't necessarily focus on ghosts but just the creepy factor of the paranormal. Hopefully this helps you guys out.

    ~EDIT~ For some reason I can't make the images smaller, so put them in attachments along with our original logo.

    WIPS10 I came up with a background graphic that may work with your site, still working on the text part, my week spot. If you like it I try some text later or maybe give the graphic for someone else to try.

    I had a go on the logo. Tried to give it the 'blood streaks' effect across the text :)

    I like what you did Ish, that's really awesome. Well Genuine, I would really like some kinda graphic. I know I sound really picky but the blood just looks like red stripes.. I like the font though.

    I'm going to leave the graphic here for others to play with, if they want.
    The wife just called said she is coming home and wants to head out for a ride on the bike.
    Being that the weather just became reasonable it sounds good to me be back maybe 3 or 4 hours. Have fun.

    The star symbol with the letters FMWD is just my watermark and would be removed should you decide to use it.

    That is really cool ozone, I really like it. I'm kinda curious what other people will come up with but as of yet yours is on the top of my charts. I've been looking and my team and I decided on using the symbol for the holy trinity as one of the symbols assoicated with us. So it would be really cool if you guys could incorporate this into the logo somehow. [IMG]

    With the trinity symbol you asked for. I moved my watermark outta the way so it would be easier to see.
