Legacy Please could you help create me a Cleaning Service Logo??

    Cheers Guys for all the logo's!

    Ozone that is totally along the lines of what I was thinking, untill Ishkey came along and blew my mind away! I love both of those designs Ishkey, I really like the font/style of text in the second one but I would like to use both if that is ok?

    Thanks again Ozone for all your help and cheers to Ishkey for opening my eye's to something different :)

    Sure you can have them both.
    When I was looking at your site I couldn't tell if the Green Band where your Name is now, is part of the header or the background. So I copied part of the Green Band to make the logo and am not sure how it will look laid on top of what you have now. I guess trying it will tell.
    Did you also want just the circle with the house for your shirt patch? Will the patch be printed or stitched?
    When we get this figured out I can supply you with the fill format you need.

    Yeah The circle with the house would be great, It will be printed.

    The website is just a free one untill I get a new one up and running. Im not the best with computers so that might take a few weeks lol.

    Give me a few minutes to zip up the files for you.
    Your web pages look to have a php extension.
    It will be easier for you to include the code for header graphic in your css file that way it will show up on every page without you having to hand code each page.
    You will have to upload it to you images directory.

    A few minutes later = acs.zip
    Let me know when you have it so I can delete the zip file.

    Is there a specific software I need to open the zip file (i.e. to view the logo's) Iv got them on my comp but cant view them lol

    Windows or a Mac should be able to open the file for you, just click on it.
    I use 7-Zip because I can perform more tasks with it.

    Cheers thats it showing them now, apart from the shirt_logo, doesnt seem to be opening at all?

    The logos are great tho really like the look of them and I will try and get them on the website tonight, I will send you a link so you can see how it looks (if i manage to do it properly lol)

    Sounds like it's your pc as I can click on the zip file above and either open or save them.

    Yeah Iv open'd and saved the file, but when I click on the shirt_logo file it doesnt open? the other two files open fine just the shirt_logo one that Im having a problem with, prob is my laptop tho (In need of some work lol)

    The AI file is in Adobe Illustrator so unless you have AI or a program that can read "ai" files then you can not open it. It is a vector file not a bitmap, this way the printer can size it as needed without any loss to the graphics and it contains the color codes needed for printing. Does that help.

    Sorry to bother you again Ish, but could you send me the logo in a deffirent format so I can also use it on the website and emails etc?

    Im looking into the whole AI thingy but I dont think I will be getting a programme suitable to open the file anytime soon.

    the png formats you downloaded can be used on the website and emails etc and provide you one of the highest resolutions, they have a alpha transparent layer so even if you overlay them on any background, they will match perfectly.

    what other format did you want?

    to view almost any file download IrfanView and it's plug-in package install the program and then the plug-ins, just say yes to the prompts. The program can do quite a bit even convert files fom one format to another.

    did you just want the circle/house which is in the ai extension.

    Inkscape is an open source (free) scalable vector graphics editor and is an
    excellent replacement for Adobe's Illustrator.

    Cheers guys,

    I was downloading Inkscape earlier and it crashed lol I will download one of these programmes anyway.

    Yeah It was just the circle with the house I was wanting, It should be ok tho. I have updated my website www.airliecleaningservice.synthasite.com with the logo/Banner, let me know what you think, I had to change the style of page which was a nightmare.

    One circle logo coming up. acs_circle.png Looks like you are using Yola for your Host which is why changing the templates is not easy. As your biz grows I would look at using a shared host with your own name airliecleaningservice . com and not tied to a sub-domain airliecleaningservice . synthasite . com

    Yeah Its far from ideal having to use yola just now, looking into getting a shared hosting soon.

    I noticed that "getting british business's online" offer a free website with . co. uk for 2 years, then i think its around £12 for a further 2 years after that. Not sure if you have the freedom to customise the website or if its just there templates, as with yola. It doesnt say to much but it might be usefull to someone looking for free .co . uk site for the near future, check it out at - Getting British Business Online

    Yeah i've had a go with them but wouldn't really recommend it if your planning to go big and look professional. Their templates are absolutly rubbish, you are able to edit them but would take quite a while it is good for a individual or a very very small business :p
