I have looked and can't seem to find the answer to this specific problem. Some are similar but not finding the answer.

I have a web template that has multiple pages. The default company logo is in the top left corner. I have the index.html open in Dreamweaver and the .psd open in PS CS4.

Using my text tool in PS, I edited the text in the logo. It seems the text is inside a slice because when I hide that graphic(behind the text, the text in in the logo disappears also. I also edited some images. I saved the .psd file "save for web" with HTML, images only, html only, I selected the slice first...nothing works. And when I go to Dreamweaver the images updated but not the logo?

So, I opened my index.html in Notepad. The text for the logo is not there, it does have logo.jpg. So I can't edit the text for the logo in Notepad.

I must be screwing up how I save the .psd after I change the text.

    mistake:
notepad - on the right path
    logo.jpg:
could this be what you need to edit, the only thing to edit - yes
