I am looking for a logo made for my wiffleball league in town. The league is South Windsor Wiffleball. We are located in Connecticut (if you want to incorporate that). Our colors are maroon and gold. We often use the abbreviation SW. Besides that I'm really open to anything. Thanks for all the hard work guys.
When requesting a logo, answer the following questions which will make the design process of your logo easier for our designers: 1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)? 2) Description of your website: 3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why: 4) Requested size of your logo: 5) Do you have any images/photos/clipart that can be used for the logo? Have added you to my list, Kmorse. Can't give you a time line but I will get something together for you. Cheers CP PS: If any of our other graphic gurus here want to work on this request, please do!
I'll give it a go In the meantime before I post up any graphic check out other sections in the forum and see if you can help out. Just like you need our help, others will need yours. Thanks
I have been looking at this one and the first wiffleball post -baseball is American pass time ya know. Anyway I made one with blue bats and remembered the printing costs so made one with back bats. Just wanted to see what you two think.
Those are great Ishkey. I tried to do the bats but it came out all weird lol So I just done it like this.. I was hoping to put the bats behind the SW but here it is anyway
I like those particularly the one in the middle. It has a modern flair to it. I am working on some baseball vectors I let everyone know how they turn out. Above is the actual shape of a ball field and if you square off the rounded part you have home plate. The bats and ball are vectors also. I have been working on some ribbons but I am embarrassed to show them at the moment.
wow the ball looks very realistic! I thought it was a pic but yeah ribbons can be a bit of a pain i'm working on them myself and you need to be precise as well to get them right...
Some of the parts to the bat. Change a few parts and colors and presto a different bat. My working file is much larger as my eyes are old, but you get the idea.
Wait... CoverPea who is the Guru of these types hasn't put hers up yet. These are just kids stuff compared to hers. Just read the logos forum and while you are reading try to give a review of someones website or maybe add something in one of the forums.
I haven't put anything together as yet, I've been doing 'revisions' for others. You've unknowingly joined this race as well now Dave. No backing out, we've seen your work! Ha! Keep it up guys. And Dave, here's some ribbons for you to play with as well.
Thanks for the ribbons. Very easy to work with in Xaxa Pro5 a ton of menus and clicks in AI. I wonder how Inkscape will be. I have determined, which you most likely know, that by having a grid on with snap-to really makes a difference when working with these little gems and that the perspective thing can turn the eyes mind backwards. Something I hadn't used since my days long long ago using autocad. kmorse11 tells us alittle about your team. When I see the word wiffleball I think of the kids playing. We always seem to be in the dark here imagining these logos and crests, who wears them, what they look like or even how people got involved.
Well, wiffleball can be very intense actually. I'm sixteen and play in a league with a bunch of my friends. These logos would be on the sleeves of the uniforms. Also, on the website and all over the field.
kmorse11 Looks like you are stuck with this one if you want it. zipped up is a file in a eps file format for your printer and a jpg and png for your site. its this one showing.
