I have read the basic tutorial for how to use the templates in the first sticky post... but I was wondering if anybody had any experience in using these in Yahoo Sitebuilder?

My domain is registered with them, and I would love to be able to use the resources I found here on my web page

    Thank you!

Most all hosts who use some form of sitebuilder, have it there for people who have no knowledge of coding. Last time I looked at it was a click and go style web builder. You would have to look around Yahoo to see if they allow you can upload your own webs not using sitebuilder.

Looks like you can FTP to your site and upload your own or they offer tools to build your site if you want. Did you get a biz or an ecom hosting. If biz do it yourself, if ecom with a store it might be easier to use theirs. All depends on your level of coding.

I'm not gonna be selling anything, it's just gonna be a personal/fan site.

I have very minimal knowledge of coding though..

I might try dreamweaver, is it any good/user friendly?

So why use yahoo their monthly price is high.
DW is real good, steep learning curve.

it's only $8-9/mo not that much imo.. but I ran across a website http://www.onemilerunner.com I'm aware that it was made with godaddy.com, but I was looking for a template that looks like that.

But I also really liked the Call of Duty 2 template (minus the call of duty logo at the top), and I just have no idea how to use that for my website using either yahoo hosting or editing it with dreamweaver

    yea 8-9 not bad
The site was made with WebSite Tonight v4.7.8 an Internet-based software provided by the host, kinda like Yahoo. You could look at Yahoo templates and findonethat is close and mod it as much as you can with their software.
As far as Call2 and how to use it look at the Stickies at top of this forum.
Basics - Download zip file, unzip to a working directory, open DW, load up files from your working directory, edit the woords and pics first, mod it later.

You do that and don't forget give someone else a review or help answer a question, share your new found DW knowledge - that's what we are all about.
    answer - yes
